Not So Effective Cozmo...

Ads that are placed near the bottom of the page I find to be ineffective. When people get to a page they usually find everything they are looking for in the top section, whether it be links to other parts of the site, or information in the first couple paragraphs. This ad was for Scope Outlast. It was placed near the bottom of the Cosmopolitan web site was also in the middle of the page. This ad was not that small, which you think that would make it stand out and catch your eye. But it looks like it is just part of the website and not an ad. When I was scrolling thought the main page of the site I scrolled right past that ad and didn’t even see it. It also does not help that the entire site is cover in a lot of pictures, so its hard to tell what is a picture for an article, and what is a picture for an ad unless you are really looking at it.  If Scope wanted to create an effective ad, they should have made a skyscraper near the top of the page, or made it a sync ad so it catches people eye.

take a look for your self and see if you can spot the Scope Outlast ad!
